Job Description

    NDT INSPECTOR/NDT COORDINATORSkills: Skills Required:Diploma/B.E (Mech) or equivalent Must have Level 2 certified in MPT, PT, UT as per ASNT SNTTC1A (or) PCN / ISO 9712(Preferable). At least 5 yrs. of experience in related field Ability to learn and comply with all company policies, procedures & code requirements. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have leadership quality, strong work ethic and be self-motivated. Exceptional attention to detail isometric drawings. Must have understand the different type of defects and classification of indications asper the procedure/ specification. Basic welding knowledge is required. Ability to use basic computer functions for data entry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities and Duties:Monitor NDT progress/backlog status regularly. Verify the calibration & integrity of measuring monitoring equipments. Task assigning the work instructions to NDT operator for different job locations. Actively participate the project meetings. Applying testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards andevaluate results. Organize and report test results. Supervise/Perform specialized inspections. Supervise/Perform other job related tasks as assigned. Supervise/Perform examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes,standards, and specifications. Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified,and exercise assigned responsibility. NDT inspector/ coordinator executes various types of NDT inspections in our facilityboth for grounded or elevated locations.Work Conditions:Work shifts on peak time of project load. Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department forpersonal protection. Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments. Work with radiationand hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
