Engineer IN, Chennai | Professional | Full-Time | ID: 13770Applications, Controls & Electrical - Software Applications & Electronics - Quality Monitoring & ImprovementsDescribe the Department Software Application & Electronics is responsible for delivering optimized and reliable control solutions for our Wind Turbines including the functional safety. This includes the real-time communication backbone that ties all the distributed control nodes together, the real time operating system of the control nodes and the high-level functionality that control all operation in the turbine. SAE is responsible for maintaining the man machine & plant interface, service functionality, sensing (wind, azimuth, yawing, tower acceleration), AUX power supply & backup. We are a team of around 200+ engineers spread between Denmark, Portugal & India working in a highly innovative technology-centric and process driven environmentResponsibilities You must always have a good overview of all tasks going on in the department and be prepared to communicate time schedules and resource constraints, and to negotiate priorities You will be working with these opportunities Create or Update of technical purchase specifications for LV Panels and LV cables Create and maintain Electrical documentations like panel layout, electrical diagrams etc., Create design verification plans, procedures and reports Create or Update Service and Installation procedures Participate in supplier type / routine test on LV panels and LV cables Responsible for the work documented according to Vestas way to market process in control and auxiliary power area Exposure to EMC / EMI needs to the product Exposure to International standards such as IEC, UL, CCC etc., Good to have IEC 60204-1 Machine directive Hands on experience on PTC windchill PDM link Hands on experience on change management system Hands on experience on Electrical drafting tools like Eplan, SEE electricalResponsibilities You must always have a good overview of all tasks going on in the department and be prepared to communicate time schedules and resource constraints, and to negotiate priorities.
