This team plays a critical role in improving Alexa s natural language understanding (NLU) leading to improved CX quality metrics and positive business impact. The operations manager must have a passion for data, efficiency, and accuracy. Specifically, the Ops manager will: Manage day to day operations with a team of Data Associates, Sr.Associates and Data Specialists Manage work prioritization and delivery based on business needs.Ensure high quality delivery under aggressive deadlines.Plan capacity and commit to volume by managing resources, queue, shift management, cross training, and leave management Track weekly/monthly metrics and process reviews with internal and external stakeholders across time zones. Maximize productivity and process efficiency through process standardization,process documentation, supervision, analysis and performance feedback on a periodic basis Initiate and lead process improvement projects, presents solution proposals, and implement them to other applicable/in-scope operational areas Own team s hiring, performance and development through performance metrics, training, feedback and coaching on an ongoing basis.Key job responsibilitiesThe role will require1. Work with the L2 and L3 (Data and Senior Data Associates) to perform annotations.2. Monitor the productivity and quality of the associates.3. Interact and understand the requirements of the stake holders and deliver on their expectations.4. Monitor the inputs, output and the metrics of assessment of processes.5. Monitor the performance of the associates to carry out reviews.6. Create a plan to help bottom performers.7. Create opportunities of growth for top performers.8. Take a holistic approach and integrate your team deliverables with the overall goals of the Search team, in coordination with other L4 managers and Process Leads.A day in the lifeOn a typical day, there will be a connect with the team to understand and update the regular ongoings.Discuss new initiatives, connect with stake holders to refine goals and develop better understanding.Create metrics and data dashboards which need to be surfaced to the leadership during the varuious business reviews at regular cadence., A Bachelors Degree with relevant experience of 6+ years with 2+ years of people management. Excellent communication (written & oral), organizational skills and detail oriented analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment Willingness to support several projects at one time, and to accept reprioritization as necessary Business Analytics experience. Six Sigma/Green Belt Certification MBA
