Job Description

    Job Summary: As the Assistant Manager - Sales in a hotel aggregator company, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding the companys customer base. You will assist the Sales Manager in overseeing the sales teams performance, setting targets, and implementing strategies to achieve sales objectives. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with hotel partners and ensuring exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:
    1. Sales Team Supervision: Support the Sales Manager in managing the sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve individual and team targets.
    2. Business Development: Identify potential hotel partners, negotiate contracts, and onboard new properties to expand the companys inventory.
    3. Sales Strategy Implementation: Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and gain a competitive edge in the market.
    4. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing hotel partners to ensure long-term partnerships and maximize the potential for upselling and cross-selling.
    5. Market Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and proactively address challenges.
    6. Performance Tracking: Monitor the sales teams performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular performance reports to the Sales Manager.
    7. Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with Customer Support and Operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service, resolve issues promptly, and enhance customer satisfaction.
    8. Sales Training: Assist in conducting sales training sessions for team members to enhance their product knowledge, sales techniques, and communication skills.
    9. Sales Presentations: Support the sales team in delivering effective sales presentations to potential hotel partners, showcasing the benefits of collaborating with the aggregator.
    10. Sales Targets: Work with the Sales Manager to set ambitious sales targets and provide guidance to the team to achieve or exceed those targets.
    11. Budget Management: Assist in managing the sales department budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize results.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the hospitality industry or hotel aggregator space.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
    • Results-driven and goal-oriented approach.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
    • Willingness to travel for business purposes, if required.
