Job Description

    : The successful person for this role will be highly experienced in Oracle database administration. They will have experience with : - Administration & Performance Tuning of Oracle Database system. - Patching, cloning of Oracle database. - Oracle Database upgrades, migrations etc. - Backup recovery plans and execution EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : Oracle DBA that has the following skill sets : A minimum of 6-8 years experience with the following is required : - Expertise in managing Oracle Database (10g,11g,12c) - At least 5 years of working experience and in-depth knowledge on Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN Backups and RestoreOEM - Expertise in Unix & perl scripting, to automate BAU activities like, patching, cloning etc. - Strong Performance tuning skills - Good experience in Oracle Exadata - Should be working over the weekends for scheduled maintenance activities - Provide 24x7 operational & project support for Oracle Database Technology. - Experience working on multiple UNIX based and windows platform. - Expertise in performance tuning & trouble shoot Oracle databases. - Work Experience on Applying Database PSU, CPU on Oracle core databases. - Database upgrades to one release to another, point upgrades and migrating across different platforms. - Should be flexible in learning and supporting Oracle EBS & middleware environment. Experience identified below are additional positives : - Supporting multi-site environment - Experience with perl and shell scripting - Experience with using ServiceNow - Knowledge Experience with Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, andor AWS - Knowledge on different flavors of databases like MSSQL, MySQL, Postgress is a plus.
