Job Description

    Performing installation, configuration, customization, creation, implementation and support - Setup/administer Oracle database security environment; - Carry out DB Performance Tuning, troubleshoot DB problems and work with ORACLE support on problems and questions; - Schedule RMAN (backup/recovery) - Install and configure, customize ORACLE server and clients; - Schedule, install and configure ORACLE upgrades; - Install, configure, customize ORACLE related system level software; - Design, develop and create all database file system layouts and Oracle databases; - Monitor software notifications and updates; - Manage distributed databases and configure client/server and Web-based environments; - Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to developers; - Review database design specifications and application coding routines to ensure adherence to best practices for database usage; - Ensure database performance is maintained at optimal levels and is able to support defined business requirements; - Create/maintain referential integrity relationships/constraints; - Provide problem diagnosis and resolution and schedule database backups; - Diagnose and resolve backup failures; - Configure, analyze application SQL to do SQL Tuning for performance improvement opportunities; - Develop/maintain Oracle database operational procedures; Required Candidate profile Skills Needed : - 84 + Months of Experience in Database Management performing installation, configuration, customization, implementation and support of Oracle Database on Unix/Linux. - 84 + Months of Experience with Oracle RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, Oracle Advanced Security Option and Label Security - 84 + Months of Experience in SQL Server in managing and administering Oracle database in a RAC and stand-alone environment. - 84 + Months of Experience in Managing distributed databases and configuring client/server and Web-based environments - 84 +Months of experience and expertise in problem diagnosis and resolution. - 84 + Months of experience configuring Oracle RAC Cluster and GRID Infrastructure Release 12 on Enterprise Unix/Linux. - 84 + Months of hands-on experience in Oracle Performance Tuning, Query Optimization and Production support. - 84 + Months of hands-on experience writing complex Stored Procedure and Functions in PL/T-SQL. - Bachelors Degree from a recognized university - Oracle IT Professional Certification Role: DBA / Data warehousing - Other Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: Engineering - Software & QA Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: DBA / Data warehousing
