• Practical knowledge of DevOps and agile concepts, application development and deployment tools
• Manage NMS system and taken up with vendor for any problem management. Maintain and support Container Management Platform.
• Write and maintain automation scripts and configuration management tooling
• Lead new integration with external NB systems. Experience building continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Develops automated housekeeping and monitoring/alerting tasks to reduce the need for manual intervention. Investigates and develops methods for performance optimisation and the prevention of recurring problems.
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery processes to accelerate provisioning of new systems and ensure high availability. Assist in the creation and ongoing changes required to support the CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with the architecture team to provide technical expertise to define and implement a infrastructure to support existing and future projects
• Develop and maintain trust relationships with customers and partners, rapidly understanding customer s business, technical needs, and required outcomes
• Collaborate with the Operations stakeholders and other team members to ensure designs are aligned with project requirements. Effective communication skills for presenting to all customer levels; use engagements to capture customer feedback across Nokia Cloud services, advocate for this feedback across the organization.
• Involve on new solution/serviceability program. Deliver technical and practical engagements, to translate technology-based concepts into actual customer implementable solutions, including application development and delivery within the scope of a production pilot.
• Work alongside customers to build software factories to test, build, and deliver applications to Red Hat OpenShift
• Perform end to end SAT on any NPI programs. Extensive experience working in enterprise software or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) from a development, engineering, support, or quality assurance (QA) perspective.
• Provide advice and consulting support to the project teams directly or through team members. Ability to deliver consultative type customer facing engagements with minimal supervision.
• Participating cooperatively with customer on day to- operations and provide support for new deployment. Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills, with ability to convey complex information to customers clearly and concisely.
• Preparing documentation for current systems projects and performance planning based upon performance. Demonstrable presentation and facilitation skills.
• Performing system design, hardware/software implementation and integration, and general infrastructure support.
• Complex troubleshooting, and deploying new project related to OSS DevOps usecase application
Required Skills
• Programming languages like Python, Go, Ruby, or Java is a must.
• Working Experience with tools like GitHub Actions, Gitlab CICD, Ansible Tower, Helm, Kustomize, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and the EFK stack
• Experience with NMS administration along with virtualization
• A Bachelor/master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or other related field.
• VMWare & Openshift Container Platform (OCP) Certification or hands on experience
• Experience with Container Platform and the greater Kubernetes ecosystem (Docker, CRIO, etc.)
• Advanced skills in engineering system architectures
• Excellent written skills. Ability and desire to publish regular blogs and present at speaking events.
• Linux certification is a plus
• Has good insight on NBI integration
Required Experience
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in OSS DevOps Usecases developing CICD pipeline in DevOps framework using tools like GitLab, Ansible, Jenkins, etc. on containerized platform such as Rancher, K8 , OCP, etc.
• Should have involved on Upgrade/node migration automation use case development project
• Proven Experience with Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center
• Familiarity with network tools for readiness assessment and advanced troubleshooting
• Working knowledge on nokia NMS/3rd party EMS & vendor HW products on server(HP,Dell) . storage(EMC,Vmware) & DC network (HP,Juniper)
• Redhat 7 Linux platform knowledge.
• Highly proficient and hands on experience with Datacenter/Infrastructure, Networking, Storage, and Security.
• Deepen knowledge on Data analytics tools (Splunk/arcsight/Prometheus/Grafana) and other 3rd party NMS/EMS
