Job Description

    Paid Media Analyst About the job Red Hat is looking for a Paid Media Analyst to lead performance reporting and insights, as part of its North America Program Marketing team. In the Paid Media Analyst role, you will be responsible for working with the Digital Marketing team to prepare routine and ad hoc paid media performance updates and data insights for a varied group of stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to be part of an innovative, growing team of digital marketers leading a high performing, integrated paid media strategy for North America. Responsibilities include data-informed campaign optimization across KPIs such as conversion rate, cost per lead, and marketing influenced pipeline and bookings. Qualified candidates will have experience gathering performance data from various sources, preparing reporting documents, as well as providing actionable insights to maximize Red Hat return on paid media investment. This role requires close collaboration with third-party media partners, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams including program marketing, marketing technology and operations. What you will do
    • Lead monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting and analysis for paid media campaigns in market
    • Provide a holistic view of how each marketing channel is performing, and working together effectively to drive demand
    • Leverage various data sources to derive actionable insights and make recommendations to stakeholders for optimizing performance for paid search, paid social, site direct, display and other paid media campaigns
    • Serve as the North America Paid Media team lead for reporting and data analytics tools including Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Google Data Studio, and Google Analytics
    • Set up reporting dashboards that communicate the impact of paid media efforts on overall business KPIs
    • Provide performance projections and budget recommendations by account market, campaign, channel and product line
    • Assist in troubleshooting and QA-ing pixel implementation and landing page tracking
    What you will bring
    • BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university 2-3 years experience working for a digital advertising agency and supporting B2B
    • clients with paid search, social and display strategy and execution
    • Advanced knowledge of the capabilities of paid media platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Search Ads 360, and Facebook Business Manager
    • Working knowledge of advanced analytics platforms such as Adobe AnalyticsProficient in various data visualization programs such as Tableau and Google Data Studio
    • Ability to accurately forecast budget and account performance based on various budget scenarios
    • Experience collecting and analyzing behavior through unmoderated experiments (A/B testing)
    • Ability to compile large data sets from multiple sources into a cohesive report that communicates a clear story
    • Ability to draw valuable insights and recommendations from raw data
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Demonstrates initiative with the desire and ability to learn independently
    • Ability to work to best practice guidelines and interpret the needs of situations as they arise
