Job Description

Partners with account teams and other key stakeholders to identify/implement opportunities for business process improvement and adapt to changes in the business and regulatory environment to maximize customer experience . Time horizon is typically focused on six months to one year for forecasting/planning. Planning Lead will participate in the process by which demand signals are developed, validated for alignment with transition plans, supply constraints identified, and an executable plan defined that meets financial and market share goals. Scope includes business execution processes related to lifecycle planning, account team relationships and Demand Planning. He/she will also review customer pipeline across the horizon and ensure those volumes are provided to Demand Planning. He/she will work with other Supply Chain Contacts to check supportability of customer requirements.You will:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement, develop recommendations, and convert recommendations into compelling new business plans.
    • Independently execute complex demand and supply matching activities at the highest level
    About you:
    • You have first level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
    • You have 10+ years of experience in a supply chain function.
    • You have experience in more than one supply chain function.
    • You have some experience working with Sales Account Teams
    • You have advanced understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
    • You can identify and create superior analytical tools, models and methods for making key business decisions.
    • You have advanced communication and influencing skills; fluency in English language.
    • You have advanced internal and external relationship management skills.
    • You have advanced knowledge and understanding of how to analyse business problems using Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modelling.
    • You have superior project management skills, with capability to manage cross functional teams in multiple geographies that impact the organization.
    • You have superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
    • You have extensive understanding of the companys overall business strategy.
    • You have advanced understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ATP, master scheduling and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
    • You have advanced knowledge of inventory modelling and analysis.
    • You have excellent leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management.
