Do it here.What you ll be doing.You ll be working with ecommerce Digital Sales team on architecture, design and defining solutions for digital initiatives providing Omni experiences, recommend performance optimization and personalization techniques and bring in value propositions across the entire project lifecycle.Ecommerce platform is a suite of various applications of vzw.com. It offers a complete infrastructure for the online shopping experience for both new and existing Verizon Wireless customers. It is one of the critical sales and support channel for Verizon Wireless and is considered a mission critical system. Promotions are given to customers and conversion rates are tracked against strong KPIs. Channel mix enablement is what is tracked to ensure effectiveness.

• Develop strong understanding of different areas of the business and the key metrics to measure performance of overall business.
• Define and own Solution Architecture in line with Northstar architecture SOE, functional ownership from definition phase to go-live phase.
• Define reusable components/frameworks, common schemas, standards to be used & tools to be used and help bootstrap the engineering team.
• Define and Review the micro-services strategy for the organization.
• Define End to End Customer Experience for a product and also identify opportunities through process centric approaches like Lean Six Sigma along with customer centric approaches like Design Thinking/ Service Design.
• Deliver Solutions with the organization priorities like Being Data Driven, In Sourcing, and Cloud First approach incorporated.
• Define Logical, Technical & Physical views of Solution Design using latest AI/ML tools to enhance customer experience.
• Mentor and groom resources with cross functional knowledge and architectural brainstorming sessions.
• Drive the SMTS towards collaboration, ideation and innovation charter through SMTS Engagement program.
• Identify and nurture top tech talent within the org.
• Deliver innovative tools that helps Performance, Security and DevSecOps Operations.
• Identify and troubleshoot application issues in Kubernetes Environment.
• Drive solutions towards Security and fraud resolution in application.
• Ensure Environment Stability with appropriate root cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaboration with Offshore and Onshore technocrats for design/code/innovation/prod stability.

What we re looking for.You will need to have:

• Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Six or more years of experience on Java/J2EE frameworks, design patterns and microservice strategy.
• Five or more years of experience on working with variety of multi-tier software architectures with strong concepts like Microservices, React JS, and Dynamic UI.
• Three or more years of experience on application of Products and Frameworks PLAY/AKKA, Spring reactive, React JS, Non-Blocking programming.
• Three or more years of knowledge on industry standards and practices in web technology frameworks and application of AI/ML in coming up with personalized and unified experience across platforms.
• Two or more years of experience on Endeca (EXM), ELK, Redis, NO SQL DB.

Even better if you have:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or four or more years of work experience.
• A degree.
• Experience in Technology change management for an enterprise with exposure to wide variety of problem space in technologies.
• Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of pitfalls and use cases for a large variety of solutions.
• Ability to be comfortable working in fuzzy environments where boundaries are not clearly defined.
• Analytical ability to quickly debug application problems and provide short and long term solutions.
• Experience dealing with Digital transformations, performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability.
• Ability to interact and communicate successfully with business partners and technology teams.
• Experience with AWS and Cloud.
• Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions when tools don t work.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of CICD pipeline, Code quality and automation tools.
