The ability to influence cross functionally and across the organization, at all levels, will be absolutely critical to success in this role.Key job responsibilities Drive end-to-end high impact and high visibility programs that impact pricing and thereby customer experience on Amazon Analyze data and dive deep into processes to derive business critical insights for enhancing systems Write compelling business documents and drive outcomes for Senior Leadership at Amazon Build a data oriented culture, adopt technical solutions and drive process improvement projects to achieve operational and business goals. Collaborate with Tech, Product, Operations and Category teams to ensure timely deliverables for key projectsA day in the lifeAs a Program Manager, you will be working on high impact, high visibility programs that directly impacts our customers. You will be required to ideate, analyze data, generate insights, develop proof of concepts, write compelling business case and gain agreement from Leaders across levels & functions, implement the solution. You will be required to collaborate with leaders from Tech, Operations, Business, Finance, Legal teams to drive the programs from ideation to implementation effectively.About the teamSelling Partner Services in Amazon helps our retail and marketplace business grow profitably by providing services through operations, automation and tools for increasing selection, lowering prices optimally, managing in-stock and getting the best terms from our vendors. The Competitive Monitoring Team (CMT) manages pricing for millions of items sold on Amazon worldwide and provides business intelligence to ensure competitive pricing.,
• 2+ years experience in program or project management
B.E./B. Tech/B.S. and MBA (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3+ years of experience in Program/Product Management with a proven track record of successful delivery
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills (hands on experience) with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
• Strong process and Tech orientation; ability to find efficient solutions to problems and automate tasks through use of technologies.
• Excellent Communicator (verbal and written) with strong stakeholder management skills; Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
• Ability to drive implementation and adoption of key programs / initiatives.
• High bias for action
• Ability to thrive and perform in an ambiguous setting; sound judgment and flexibility in balancing program requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule.
• Ability to work independently with limited/minimal supervision
