Job Description

Mission Statement:

  • Are you ready to put your experience to use as Project Manager at Hitachi Energy Grids & Power Quality Solutions
  • Would you like to play a major role and have impact on the organizations reputation, objectives and future business
  • In this role, youll be in charge of the management of system delivery projects in FACTS (Flexible Alternating Current Transmission Systems) technology, including technical and commercial responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Hold the overall responsibility for the management of assigned multimillion-dollar projects.
  • Work together with other Hitachi Energy Power Grids units, either as a consortium or main supplier, that you will represent.
  • Coordinate with stake holders both internal and external to Hitachi Energy Organization
  • Take initiatives and very often critical decisions that will affect the deliveries of your projects.
  • Manage, both strategically and operationally, the appropriate use of technical and human resources.
  • Use your negotiation skills to finalize the terms that would benefit your projects
Background:
  • Master or Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Hitachi Energy Project Management Certification or a PMP certification
  • 10+ years of experience in managing HVDC / FACTS / Substation projects with a value of 25 MUSD or higher.
