Job Description

    As a Software Development Engineer in Test(SDET) in Voice team, you would join a small, autonomous team of researchers and engineers to build and enhance the Test automation framework for Voice platform which is used by millions of people every day. We use both in-house and open-source tools to test our APIs that understands the user s voice command, whether they are looking for latest movies or trying to access their bill. You would be part of our rapidly growing Applied AI Research and Engineering team that is responsible for the full stack and operationalization of high-profile products and services at Comcast. Core responsibilities: Work with Product owners, Engineering, and other internal teams to identify technical and functional needs of the system and ensure integrated test design and delivery. Design and build scalable automated framework for functional testing and end-to-end system tests. Develop and utilize in-house tools/framework to assist with restructuring the current automation framework through development. Take an active part in working with other team members to provide expertise surrounding our testing strategy and automation roadmap. Provide guidance on industry standard tools and help select new tools and technologies to improve our automation process. Ensure that internal quality processes are followed and help produce artifacts for verification and validation plans, test reports, and other documentation that complies with requirements. Develop/run load tests as required. Analyze the logs, API metrics and coordinate with stakeholders. Triage the issues/bugs that arise in production code and find the root-cause. Qualifications: 5+ years of industry experience in Software Engineering. Experience with functional testing and automation of REST APIs is a must. Hands-on and Strong coding experience with Java, Spring Boot, JSON is a must. Experience with Continuous Integration and Test Automation framework Development is a must. Experience with Linux commands and knowledge on container systems such as Docker, Docker Swarm and Kubernetes. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Concourse. Good to have knowledge on AWS products like S3, EC2. Knowledge on NoSQL database like MongoDB. Experience working in an Agile environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Client is looking for have a strong experience with REST API automation using Java/SpringBoot and Test Automation framework Development skillsAlso, who have knowledge of test automation framework from scratch Key Skills: Mandatory Skill: We are looking for a candidate with strong coding skills in Test Automation Architect , Java with SpringBoot and good hands-on experience with REST API testing.,
