We are currently expanding the organization with highly qualified employees.The department is responsible for delivering service solutions towards Service business of Vestas enabling it to fulfill its aspirational, strategic targets. Furthermore Turbine Operations Engineering is the global orchestration function for Regional Operations Engineering (tech. Support) focusing on the continuous improvement of its operating model across the whole world.SDC is part of Turbine Operations Engineering and is supporting all regional teams on their main processes and deliverables. SDC is mainly located in Chennai, India.Responsibilities

  • Focus clearly on the people leadership by contacting regular 1 to 1 dialogues with the direct reports
  • Support and Facilitate the people review and the CPD process
  • Ensure that development activities for the whole team and for the people are in a place in order to ensure a motivated team
  • Ensure that we have optimum resource allocation in the different activities and projects we are involved to
  • Supervise any activities needed to close resource and competency gaps identified in the different projects
  • Engage on a continuous dialogue with Service Operations business (SBUs) in order to ensure alignment on performance and scope expectations.
  • Develop and establish the strategy around SDC activities and scope
Qualifications
  • Engineering degree (M.SC or B.Sc) and Business administration degree will be highly valued.
  • +3 year experience within the wind power business with people leadership role will be a requirement.
  • Proficient in English both written and verbal.
  • If you come with service operation knowledge and a good understanding of the commercial value set of the service business where balancing of product quality, lifetime and customer needs are always vital, it will highly valued.
  • Experience from larger organizations will be preferred .
