Job Description

Hiring for Senior Accountant with good experience.CA inter/ CMA inter Accounts :Good hold on Finance & Accounting concepts.Should have well hand experience in Tally.Should be able to manage the site accounting and billing.Have experience to manage general work related to site work.Knowledge of GST,TDS,MIS would be MustHandling all bank activities .Closing of Books

  • Reviewing adjustment/reclassification journal entries recorded client
  • Reviewing monthly revenue reports and explaining the same in month end call.
  • Working in accounting software like SAP ,ERP,VB,Oracle,Harvest,database,Tally for testing correctness and completeness of general ledger, purchase & sales for financial services clients.
  • Reviewing the monthly cost accruals and prepayments and passing adjusting journal entries wherever necessary. Testing journal entries recorded by client.
  • Calculation of depreciation on fixed assets and amortization of various capital as well as deferred revenue expenditures. Passing closing journal entries.
  • Reviewing the reconciliation of banks, debtors & creditors as well as intercompany transactions.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and ensuring that they are complete and correct.
  • Ensure month end close activities are performed according to agreed close schedules.
Variance Analysis
  • Variance analysis and variance explanations for the difference between actual and the budgeted for the various income statement items and explaining them to the Finance Team through month end calls.
Planning and Forecasting
  • Preparing plan/budget annually for different cost centers for various heads of expenses.
  • Preparing forecast quarterly for each cost center for various heads of expenses on the basis of variations between plan and actual
Gained exposure as an Auditor in various areas of audit in the following organizations.Article ship training as required under the norms of the Chartered Accountancy Course. In this process, should have acquired working knowledge in the following areas:Statutory/Internal audit of multi crore turnover Public/Private Limited Companies, Partnership firms.Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and provisions.Preparing the statements of total income for clients, together with tax computation and tax returns.Location : ChennaiExperience : 5- 6yearsRegards,HR
