The incumbent will lead the cell line group involved in cell line generation for therapeutic use. Execute all aspects of mammalian stable cell line generation operations, including transfection, selection, maintenance and expansion of cell lines, limiting dilution & clone screening, and production of recombinant proteins and antibodiesKey Responsibilities:

  • Design, oversee, execute, and troubleshoot on Cell line generation for production.
  • Mammalian cell culture and transient transfection for recombinant protein/antibody expression.
  • Stable cell line/ stable cell line pool generation for protein and Antibody using CHO, CHO-K1, Glutamine Synthetase-knockout CHO-K1, HEK293, 293T systems.
  • Perform both adherent and suspension cell culture, support downstream process development and process characterization, as well as if required adhere to regulations such as GDP, GLP and GxP.
  • Perform stability analysis, basic antibody characterization (titer, protein A, ELISA).
  • Manage one or more Research Associates and coordinate workflows across the wider team.
  • Identify and implement new methods for cell line generation.
  • Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
  • Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
  • Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the team
Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Life sciencesTechnical Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and abilities to drive projects towards completion under time and resources constrains.
  • Structured, focused and well-organized working attitude.
  • Must be detail-oriented with an ability to set priorities, and organize daily work requirements
  • Open-minded for new ideas and suggestions
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and autonomy.
  • With strong sense of discipline and with initiative with hands-on approach to work.
Experience:M.Sc with 6-9 years post qualificationBehavioral Skills:
