Job Description

Responsibilities
  • As a Automation Developer in the QA team, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of Automation framework.
  • This will require you to understand areas of improvement for the framework and to develop a big picture view of how the projects in the Automation team benefit the other test teams.
  • This will include giving guidance to other teams on best coding practices and good automation strategies. If you love coding, solving challenging problems and delivering high-quality products, we want to talk with you.

Key responsibilities

  • Think outside of the box to quickly identify and test for functional edge cases outside of expected functionality.
  • Design, develop, implement and support frameworks for our test infrastructure and provide automation expertise to our development teams.
  • Research, recommend and implement test automation frameworks with a goal of increasing our automation within our continuous integration platform.a
  • Proactively identify issues and bring to the attention of the team.
  • Design, develop, and expand on our test automation framework and research emerging automation technologies.
  • Work together with the QA team to Investigate, log, track, and triage bugs to determine root cause and establish prioritization.
  • Contribute to the design and development of automation frameworks and testing processes.
  • Interface with the customer success team to diagnose client issues and fully qualify them to fully detailed tasks that can be resolved during development phase.
  • Ensure that all tests are executed when code is pushed to platforms and give regular feedback to the Global Head of QA on the status of quality
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in Python development with Django framework
  • Has proficient knowledge and understanding of Automation Development using Python and Django. Hands on experience is an added advantage.
  • Understand and Develop functional, design and technical scripting implementation according to business, UI and technical requirements
  • Deliver with expected quality, time and scalability.
  • Proactive in opportunities for improvement, cost-saving and use of new technologies
  • Positive Attitude, Results-oriented, effective and problem-solver
  • Team-player, ability to support the overall success of the development team
  • Ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English
  • Bachelors any, preferable Computer Science
