As we continue to grow and expand our operations globally, we are seeking a talented and experienced Manager of Talent Acquisition to join our dynamic team.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of sheet metal products for powertrain applications. This role requires thorough knowledge and understanding of internal combustion engines and expertise in the development of gaskets, heat shields and sheet metal products. This role requires expertise in CAD software, strong knowledge of engineering principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.Responsibilities: Product Design: Assisting Senior Management with matters relating to product development. Lead the design and development of sheet metal products, ensuring they meet the specific requirements for powertrain applications. CAD Proficiency: Utilize Creo and AutoCAD to create detailed drawings and models for manufacturing, demonstrating expertise in sheet metal design. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to understand their requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure satisfaction with the delivered solutions. GD&T Application: Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) techniques to product design specifications, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including New Product Development (NPD), manufacturing, and quality functions to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards. Project Management: Effectively manage multiple projects, predicting delays, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and meet project deadlines. Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sheet metal design to enhance the competitiveness of the companys products. Innovation: Demonstrate creativity and innovation in product design, delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations and enhance the companys reputation. To identify opportunities to reduce costs in the design, materials used and manufacturing techniques. Analysis Expertise: Conduct non-linear analysis, thermal analysis, and modal analysis using Ansys Workbench to validate product designs and optimize performance.Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience; Masters degree preferred. CAD Proficiency: Proficient in Creo and AutoCAD for sheet metal design. GD&T Knowledge: Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and cross-functional teams. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
