Senior Director, Enterprise Partner EcosystemPosting Location : Location US-NC-RemotePosting date 12 hours ago(12/6/2021 7:31 AM)Job ID 92512 Workday ID R-019801 About the job The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Director to join us. In this role, you will lead growth within the enterprise account segment globally, in collaboration with the ecosystem partner team. You will promote Red Hat s ecosystem solutions and services within the enterprise segment. As the global enterprise lead, you will accelerate development and implementation of a multiyear strategy to rapidly grow revenue through and within the ecosystem across the enterprise segment. You will direct a team tasked with achieving global sales goals with a focus on using deep domain knowledge and leadership to develop and realize the overall ecosystem vision. You ll guide multi-product growth through the creation of joint go-to-market solutions with key ecosystem partners that promote real industry-specific business outcomes on targeted global enterprise accounts. You will also provide leadership for the development and implementation of an ecosystem that applies Red Hat s open source technologies and ensures our success within cross-functional solutions areas across the enterprise landscape. You will present a cohesive, coherent face of the Red Hat brand to the ecosystem as we rapidly introduce and expand our solutions offerings within the enterprise segment. As a Senior Director, you will report to the Senior Vice President of Global Enterprise Sales and have a dual solid line into the Global Ecosystem team to ensure close alignment with the ecosystem strategy and offerings. This role can be located in the North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Latin America (LATAM) regions remotely in any state or country where Red Hat is registered to do business. What you will do

  • Exceed strategic partner adoption and implementation goals within the enterprise account segment by prioritizing partner plays in conjunction with the Ecosystem team and the regional partner team
  • Ensure success of global partner adoption goals within the enterprise segment as measured by strategic wins, references, and single-year-booking (SYB) growth
  • Collaborate with partners as well as the Red Hat Ecosystem and Product Marketing teams to carry out effective enterprise partner plays across the global regions
  • Guide the creation of enterprise partner plans via competitive analysis, enterprise segmentation, penetration plans, and thoughtful positioning of our offerings
  • Report regularly on progress against enterprise partner progress and financial and non-financial goals as established by the business
  • Team up with the Ecosystem team to tailor programs (enablement, collateral, marketing, prospecting, etc.) to promote partner success and adoption in the enterprise segment
  • Coordinate regularly with key partner executives to achieve effective cosell motions with enterprise customers
  • Lead from the front with frequent customer interactions alongside key partners, participating directly in closing opportunities on key enterprise ecosystem accounts and guiding business initiatives for future success
  • Partner with the Ecosystem team from a structure, talent, and competence perspective to further strategic partner adoption and implementation within the enterprise segment
  • Support the development of major market transformative relationships and transactions in concert with our product, marketing, services, and field sales teams
What you will bring
  • 10+ years of enterprise experience, ideally in sales leadership and business development roles, with targets in excess of $500 million USD
  • Proven background in strategic planning, business development, sales leadership, and enterprise management within software, hardware, and professional services
  • Advanced strategic thinking and problem-solving capacity for the enterprise ecosystem across multiple global regions
  • Proven ability to inspire multiple internal teams to grow total addressable market-driven opportunities
  • Demonstrated record of managing and growing a business vertical in the segment with experience working with matrixed structures
  • Proven success in engaging corporate support functions and business teams; ability to inspire diverse communities internally and externally
  • Proven success in guiding and persuading senior account managers with diverse backgrounds and experience levels to achieve success in remote and distributed locations
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving sales, revenue, and profit targets in both direct and channel routes to market within the enterprise segment
  • Understanding of region-specific cultures and practices, ideally with a record of having worked in a minimum of two of the theatres of operation
  • Outstanding leadership skills and ability to inspire, motivate, and provide vision to a broad, remote organization to achieve strategic growth goals, as well as annual and quarterly revenue targets
  • Proven ability to build credibility with executives, industry analysts, and associates, with a reputation for developing successful global enterprise relationships
  • Ability to contribute to broader business conversations beyond functional areas of expertise
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline; MBA is a plus
