Job Description

Who We Are:BroadCloud Webex team is responsible for research and development of unified communication and collaboration platform which involves Webex Calling, and cloud-based hosted PBX.Our division is responsible for innovating, developing, and maintaining the native cloud platform that supports on-boarding of Service Providers, Enterprises, Agents, and the users. It also supports the provisioning of numbers, devices and assignments and activation and deactivation of services.Some of the largest telecommunication companies and service providers around the world are using our cloud platform to support their infrastructure and business.What Youll Do:

  • Own the design, development, and deployment of a significant part of a native cloud-based solution.
  • You will work closely with multi-functional leads like Product Managers and engineering leads from other diverse groups to help design and deliver the product.
  • You will help identify efficient solutions to meet the product strategy. You will be hands-on yourself, while you guide others in building the solutions.
  • You will be tasked with:
  • Building and Deploying High Performing web services and applications to support data for millions of customers
  • Assisting with production issues as necessary
  • Ensuring new code meets strict security requirements and writing supporting documentation
  • Supporting continuous monitoring and audit requirements
  • Developing new features
  • Leading, mentoring the junior members in the team
Who You Are:Required Skills
  • 7 to 12 years of experience in software development
  • Core Java,(Groovy scripting experience is a plus)
  • DevOps mindset with exposure to tools like Jenkins (pipeline customization, both declarative and scripting
  • Good communication, collaboration and written skills
  • Good attitude and team member
  • Process-oriented and having documentation and presentation skills
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
  • Excellent debugging skills and performing RCAs
  • Experience in developing high performing and scalable software solutions
  • Sound technical depth - ability to go deep into technical problems and the ability to build large designs when needed to tackle a complex problem.
Good understanding of the following
  • Microservices and Docker containers
  • DevOps practices and tools
  • Full Stack Development
  • Web Technologies and JavaScript frameworks - Angular, Bootstrap, Backbone, Core JavaScript concepts
  • GIT, GCP
  • Agile process
  • Secure coding practices
  • Coding convention
  • Jira or similar
  • Experience with Unix systems
  • Network debugging tools and java debugging tools
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools
  • Experience with SDLC (Design, Development, Testing, Debugging and Bug fixing)
Desired knowledge on
  • J2EE, Spring/ Spring Boot
  • Good Experience with any SQL - (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Restful design
  • Crafting Client-Server applications
