To ensure proper yard management and yard utilization at all times Shipping Line reporting and update should be adhered at all times TOS follow-up and 100% implementation at Gate Traffic Management at GateShow More Key responsibilitiesProper yard planning with respect to the size, type and damage status of containers. Maintaining separate stacking for special customers if required. Yard planning to mitigate unutilized moves in the yard to cut down on diesel consumption. Efficient deployment of cargo handling equipment to achieve maximum output. Maintaining utilization level more than 95% to cut down on the requirement of RST Allotment of containers to be done on FIFO basis. Proper yard planning to ensure the same To maintain the quality of repairs carried out as per the repair criteria, to ensure that all the estimates are 100% accurate without any error. Ensure movement of Ex-Im container by checking documents/container no./seal no., port cut-off time, SMTP timeline, First & Last mile deliveries, while ensuring Safe and Secure Operations i.e. implementation of HSSE norms Ensure dispatch of empty container by checking gate-pass issued by In-gate officer Ensure all import containers are gated out after completion of necessary Customs and legal procedures. Ensure loaded/empty containers delivered are properly surveyed and their record is maintained. Oversee the Yard & Gate as per the SOPs, keeping in view the safety and security of all the resources. Managing the traffic near the Gate with a view that vehicles are parked properly and do not obstruct the yard operations. Ensure dispatch of export BTT cargo by vehicle no. and gate-pass prepared by export section Ensure timely movement of export containers by co-ordinating with export dept., movement dept. and Transporter. Ensure correct and timely data entry in the relevant systems and interface with MIS / ERP system of APMT Handle various queries of export/import/account. Prepare/check invoices and various MIS reports. Maintain proper record of MIS Data discipline in reporting to Customer and Shipping Lines Coordinate with the commercial team and transportation team for timely dispatch of the container Knowledge of standardized work routine and methods, general facts and informationShow More We are looking for- Preferable a university degree in logistics or Supply Chain Management- Minimum 3 to 5years experience in a CFS / ICD environment- Knowledge of EXIM business- Good written and verbal communication skills- Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management- Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time- Ability to safely and legally operate a forklift- Must have worked in the ecosystem of ICDAn essential part of being employed with APM Terminals is compliance with Commit, the governance framework of the Maersk Group.
