Job Description

    Who you ll work with:You ll join a team of engineers focused on providing easier, simpler, and more efficient ways for customers to get data into Logikcull. The team loves to pair up to solve problems and do deep dives into the external APIs we work with. We like to play games and Matt is an excellent RPG DM and has created custom games for the team (and company) to play. Joedie has some crazy stories of the hoops our customers used to have to jump through before Logikcull as our team eDiscovery expert (and camping enthusiast). You ll often find Jason in the #memes channels or hyping up the 3-minute-animal, the companys weekly drawing game.What you ll be doing:
    • You will completely own and build out features in Rails + JavaScript from start-to-finish
    • You will take initiative to improve something whenever you notice problems
    • You will participate in the Agile meetings of a cross-functional squad
    • You will work with our Product and Design teams to develop thoughtful, intuitive features
    • You will participate in an on-call schedule
    • You will write tests and review other engineers code to ensure high code quality and minimize bugs
    • You will write documentation around features and support operations
    • You will be helping to mentor and grow the skill set of other Rails developers on the team
    What we need from you:
    • Computer science degree a plus and 3-5+ years development experience
    • You have experience developing or contributing heavily to a production Rails application
    • You like to collaborate with team members and occasionally pair-program
    • You care about creating and owning maintainable software
    • You are self-driven and can be productive and communicative in a remote-focused environment
    • You have experience integrating with 3rd party APIs
    • [Bonus] You have experience building and maintaining services in an service-oriented architecture
    • [Bonus] You have some familiarity with React
