Job Description

  • Deliver right first time high quality technical work.
  • Work closely with clients to develop and deliver credible technical solutions to support business improvement.
  • Be part of, or manage the team delivering technical projects in line with the Scope of Work detailed within the contract and to the agreed budget.
  • Ensure that you are / get proficient in the use of BuildME and provide coaching as required to members of the project team.
  • Support the BD function in developing opportunities for business expansion, and in the preparation of proposals.
  • Identify new work/project extension opportunities when supporting project delivery.
  • Produce or oversee the production of written reports and/or strategy documents.
  • Manage the delivery of individual CTRs and/or complete projects.
  • Provide mentoring to technical and operational staff.
  • Support the Operations Leads in the consolidation of regional project financial data. When acting as Project Manager, provide accurate weekly revenue forecasts and project resourcing requirements to the Operations Lead.
  • When managing projects, take responsibility for the financial and technical performance of the project.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of techniques, best practices and statutory requirements appropriate to the business, through appropriate means, i.e. review of periodicals, attendance at conferences/user groups, etc.,
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in all necessary systems, processes and procedures relevant to the professional management of the business.
Essential Skills:Have detailed knowledge of:
  • Integrity Management Program Development and Implementation
a. Risk based inspection (RBI) b. Corrosion management strategy developmentGood working knowledge or some / all of the following:
  • Implementation of Predictive and Non-Destructive Technologies (NDE/NDT)
  • Pipeline integrity management systems
  • Mechanical Integrity, AIV, FIV, FEA
  • Fitness for Service and remaining life extension
Process Safety:
  • SCE and Performance standard development
  • SIL assessment and verification
  • Major Accident Hazard management
  • Qualitative and/or Quantitative Risk management
