Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesPlan and execute the Simulation requirements for Engine, Transmission, and Driveline NVH aspects in products in the Virtual simulation stage. Create the Powertrain NVH target sheet and meet these targets in VV stage along with meeting the project Time, cost, and performance requirements. Benchmarking, Target setting, and Front loading contenting inputs for New vehicle projects for Powertrain and Driveline NVH aspect. Coach, Guide and Develop the PT NVH Team members to deliver the Powertrain NVH requirements aligned to project Timelines. Explore and utilize the advanced tools and techniques in the Simulation stage for NVH DVP deliverables along with Automation and optimization techniques Create the new Process, tools, procedures, and Guidelines for productivity improvement from NVH aspectsGeneral CompetenciesKnowledge of Engine, Clutch, Transmission, and Driveline Induced NVH requirements and NVH measures to contain the same in VV and Test stage Know-how and expert skillsets for Powertrain NVH Simulation softwares like Nastran, HM, Actraan, AVL Excite, Romax, Valvdyne software Advanced Skill sets of Automotion, optimization, super element for productivity enhancements Capability for Leading the team for delivering the Virtual requirements for Powertrain and Driveline. Having strong communication and presentation skills along with Leadership qualities for executing Projects.Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the jobIn-depth Knowledge of Powertrain and Driveline NVH. Must know tools and techniques for executing NVH simulation for Powertrain and Driveline. In-depth Knowledge about Gear whine and rattle simulation and manufacturing requirements. Gear design from the NVH aspect. Awareness and knowledge about vehicle NVH requirements for Powertrain and Driveline Intergration aspect.
