    Job descriptionLocation - RemoteRoles and responsibilitiesSpecifically, Senior Manager Data Visualization should have experience inSolution DesigningUnderstand the business needs of the client and accordingly design the most effective visualization solution using technologies suitable to the end users (e.g. web, mobile, app and print)Make information easy to understand by designing and producing meaningful and effective data visualizations using relational and aggregate data sourcesUnderstand clients data complexity and basic data engineering concepts to extract data for analysisCreate interactive visualizations to allow users to ask and answer questionsAbility to build story for the solution offered and make charts / tables talk businessProject and Client ManagementManage multiple projects of varying complexities, and ensure the best quality under the given timelines with minimal supportConduct sanity checks based on reasoning and experience to ensure that deliverables are client readyBe a part of deliverable discussions with clients over telephonic calls and engage with them as a thought partner for their BI challengesManage team of about 4 analyst to work on client requirementsAbility to come up with analytical construct from a business problemMost Important Requirements:Superior problem solving abilities and strong analytical thinkingDesire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment where you need to push yourself all the timeExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalSolution orientation and self-driveIdeal Candidate9-12 years of relevant experience of hands-on experience on various BI tools and technologiesExperience in creating complex dashboards both static, interactive and real time visualizations that allow drill down ability and help the client take actions based on the insights providedExpert-level knowledge of data visualization and data mining using off-the-shelf BI tools Tableau, Spotfire and Power BIUnderstand the concept of data engineering and BI solutionsExcel, SQL, Access and other databases to manipulate and create back-end dataExperience in handling client calls and client management independentlyExperience of managing projects independently, along with handling project teamsExposure to data mining and predictive analytics will be an added advantageAutomation and reporting/dashboard conceptsOther SkillsExcellent communication skills (both written and oral)Knowledge of other visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire, D3, Domo, ggplot, Shiny apps is added advantageDevelopment of interactive dashboards or other visualization, HTML5, CSS and D3, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries, including extJS, jQuery, AngularJS, Ggplot and Shiny appsExposure to cloud-based environment to develop and deploy various dashboards and visualizationsKnowledge of big data architecture concepts (HDFS, Map reduce, etc.)
