Job Description

    Our client is a global banking leader, is actively seeking an experienced individual as Finance controller to co-ordinate and work closely with their FP&A team and manage their line of business. This is a senior role and requires extensive interaction with stakeholders and senior management in the organization. Some of the key responsibilities will include: - Working with senior leaders on performance management reporting and analytics though high-quality MI and stakeholder engagement.- Reviewing financial processes done by other teams, ensure that the quality is not compromised and monitor the financial activities.- Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.- Work closely with the data management team to define GL standards and accounting treatments to help balance control and performance reporting requirements.- Understanding the ad hoc requirements and ensuring quality and TAT of the output.- Continuously reviewing all processes in order to identify opportunities for process improvements.- Collaborate closely with the accounting teams in helping drive greater control of entries that impact business performance outcomes. To be eligible for this role you will require: - CA or CFA or equivalent qualification is required.- 8-9 years of relevant experience in finance control/product control with strong understanding of IFRS/R2R/Accounting.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficient in MS Excel.- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.,
