Job Description

This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base. The Role Responsibilities:

  • Report to the workstream lead PMO.
  • Representing budget control for the Program Manager and Program PMO
  • Ownership and accountability of financial discipline of the programs.
  • Represent the Program financials to the finance team
  • Ensure the Program Financials is in line with the guidelines laid down by the finance team.
  • Co-ordinate between FOT / Technology PMO and challenge them on the forecast.
Core Deliverables:
  • Ensure Program financials are always up to date.
  • Perform monthly analysis of Forecast vs Actuals and provide justification on the variance to the Program
  • and Finance Team.
  • Challenge the PMOs (Biz & ITO) on the forecast based on the variance analysis trend and ensure the variance is well below 5%.
  • Establish a communication strategy to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the Financials of the programs
  • Tracking, updating of Program Benefits and reconciling them to ensure they are on track.
  • Provide updates/reports on weekly and monthly tasks.
  • Support any adhoc requests from the Program office, Program manager and workstream lead.
  • Ensure program financial hygiene and governance are well maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities:
  • Ensure KPIs for the respective Programs are green.
  • Stakeholders management communication.
  • Overall responsibility for the successful execution, monitoring and controlling of program financials in clarity.
  • Coordinating with Project PMOs to ensure IT related costs(Infra, Software license, hardware etc.) and any other vendor related expenses are accrued and forecast accurately on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure development of benefit profiles, and active management of benefit realisation
  • Ensure robust and transparent programmatic controls on financial quality management, status reporting including use of automated tooling (Clarity)
  • Ongoing management of program capitalisation ratio s and forecast
  • Ensure interdependencies with other projects and programmes are managed effectively
Skills & Experience:
  • Over 10 years in Project /Program Finance.
  • Prior experience in a bank.
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis for management stakeholders
  • Knowledge on handling Capital and Operating costs
  • PMO experience would be an added advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills covering both senior and operational levels
  • Experience of programme definition and delivery in an evolving regulatory environment
  • Advance level of MS Excel
  • Experience in Clarity, MS Project and Peoplesoft/Ariba.
