Job Description

    Manages and monitors day - to - day operations of infrastructure services. - Proven Experience in installing and managing Windows Environment, Active Directory, VMware, SAN Systems (Prefer NETAPP but not required), CISCO UCS, DELL VXRail, SolarWinds and Antivirus. - Proven Experience in Managing Office 365 Platform and Hybrid Exchange Environment. - Experience in managing and supporting Hybrid Cloud Environment (Prefer Azure Platform). - Efficient in troubleshooting issues and outages and performing root cause analysis. - Responsible for the installation and configuration of new software and hardware on the servers and managing the patching of the servers, - Works with third - party vendors and consultants on various projects where required. - Partners with the infrastructure team to troubleshoot and resolve network and systems issues. - Trains the technical supporthelpdesk staff on solving common systems - related problems. - Ensures the highest Level of system and infrastructure availability. - Oversees enterprise backup and recovery systems, ensures that adequate backup software and hardware are in place, manages offsite data storage, and evaluates offsite alternatives for redundancy. - Monitor the environment for security vulnerabilities and make recommendations to minimize the threat landscape. - Experience in Disaster recovery and Business Continuity Practices. - Evaluates andor recommends purchases of computers, servers, storage, application services, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software. - Acts as an escalation point for the helpdesk and Investigates user problems, identifies their source, and determines possible solutions, tests, and implements solutions or workarounds as needed. - Establishes and performs maintenance programs following company and vendor standards. - Investigates, recommends, and installs enhancements and operating procedures that optimize system availability. - Develops and maintains professional relationships with vendors and service providers. Monitors service agreements and coordinates renewal of services. - Create and Maintain documentation of system infrastructure and applications. - Maintains current knowledge of new technology, system life cycles, and proactively recommends upgrades for technology changes. Maintains awareness of industry best practices and applies within the organization. - Provides training and technical direction for junior members of the IT team. - Proficient in ITSM processes. - Plans and implement system automation as required for better efficiency. Minimum Requirements : - Associates degree in computer science, technology, or in a related field or relevant experience as a systems administrator - MCSE Certification preferred but not required. - VCP Certification preferred but not required. - 8+ years Systems Administration experience supporting Windows Environments.
