Job Description

If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Software Development Analyst - ABBYY to join our team in Chennai, Tamil N du (IN-TN), India (IN).In these roles, you will be responsible for:

  • Adopt the given technology to meet the drift of customer and business requirements.
  • Engage in development activities related to ABBYY and resolve any technical issues related to ABBYY.
  • Provide advanced technical support for investigation and diagnosis for resolving ABBYY OCR related incidents to ensure Service Level Agreements/Operational Level Agreements are compiled.
  • Documenting, logging and managing calls in the Service Management tool to high standards.
  • Escalate unresolved Incidents to Project Leaders and clients as required.
  • Supporting the Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases.
  • Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
  • Developing, configuring programs, scripts and objects that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
  • Problem solving issues that arise day to day and providing timely responses and solutions as required.
  • Work within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
Required Skills for this role include:
    • Technical skills
      • Overall IT / RPA development experience: Min 6 years, of which Min 3 years in ABBYY template creation in Flexicapture.
      • Strong knowledge in OCR technology (specifically ABBY)
      • ABBYY Skills:
        • Experience in ABBYY Flexicapture 12 stations & servers:
        • Understands project setup station (import profiles, batch types, user roles, stage tools)
        • Understands document definitions and invoice module (rules, scripting, field properties, export settings)
        • Understands invoice module (database connection, keywords)
        • Understands FlexiLayout studio (blocks, elements, FlexiLayout language, fuzzy logic)
        • Understands verification station (queues, user roles)
        • Understands monitoring server (reporting, account creation) and processing server
        • Familiar with navigating ABBYY help
        • Basic knowledge on SQL databases, tables, and views
        • Experiential knowledge in SQL coding and C# Coding
        • Ability to talk to client and get the Business Requirements
        • Communicates and enforces coding standards
        • Performs code reviews and mentor junior developers.
      • Desired Skills:
        • Strong Domain Knowledge: Financial, Supply Chain or Manufacturing
Preferences:
      • Graduate degree in Computer Science with minimum 5 to 10 years of IT development experience
