Ideal Candidate is one who can Implement next generation cloud platform in a hybrid cloud setting to support PayPal business teams to scale their critical customer and business impacting applications. The engineer would drive solutions and implementation leveraging different open source distributed systems, drive its adoption and deliver a complete product. Engineer would be creative to build brand new solutions from scratch and continually improve and scale existing systems.* Should have 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing high scale distributed systems Hands on Programming Experience in Java and Python and solid understanding of Software Delivery Life Cycle Product Development Experience is a must. Ability to design a module keeping the end to end picture in mind Ability to adapt to new development Environments and Changing Business Requirements Effective Team Player and with ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver a common goal Ability to present and showcase the work to customers and management Experience in Scheduler Platforms (especially Airflow) is a huge plus Ability to think strategically during roadblocks and come up with creative ways to solve the problemFor more than 20 years, PayPal has remained at the forefront of the digital payment revolution.
