Independently own and resolve applications issues, ability to analyze logs, run queries to identify the issue.2. Plan, execute and implement application and configuration change procedures3. Recommend/implement solutions that prevent future occurrence of issues, by doing root cause analysis.4. Attend to alerts related to application and system procedures.5. Maintain good working relationships with Engineering, Platform support teams and end Users.6. Continuously improve the expertise in the applications and systems related to the domain7. Flexibility - responsibilities may require occasional evening and weekend work8. Coordinate with various teams to resolve issues ranging in complexity from Low to Critical9. Install and prepare tools required for proper functioning of applications on regular basis.10. Work with QA team to administer code migrations in various environments and take production outputs.11. Recommend ways to improve/optimize application performance.12. Prepare reports on a periodic basis and highlight key issues.13. Follow standards and best practices to improve operational efficiencies, stability and availability of the system.14. Comprehend various metrics on operational dashboards and reports and take corrective actionsYour QualificationsBachelors Degree or Master s Degree with 2-5 years of experience in Computer Science or related field.Proficient in Java 8, experience using Spring framework.Experience with ORM frameworks, mainly Hibernate.Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE technologies and Java Application ServerHands on experience in implementing REST APIs.Experience with build tools - Maven/ Gradle.Experience in writing test code Junit5 and Mockito.Proficiency working in Linux/Unix environments. Comfortable in shell scripting.Strong understanding of OOPS concepts, Data Structures & Design PatternsProficiency in GIT and other versioning toolsDB experience and interacts with SQL & No-SQL databases.Good to know data processing pipelines using Flink / Spark / Kafka Able to design modular, reusable components and Apply best practices.Key Technology Skills:Core Skills: Full Stack - React Js, Angular, Node Js, Java/J2EEDatabase: Azure Cosmos, GCP, SQL DatabaseMessaging and communication: APIs/RESTful ServicesMiddleware: Rest API & Micro Services, Torbit & API ProxyCloud Technologies: Azure / GCPMonitoring/Logging: Splunk, DynatraceWalmart Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer By Choice.
