Job Summary:
Trimble Cloud in Chennai is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for its Cloud Platform Engineering Team to build and run large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant Cloud services. This Team in Chennai for Trimble Cloud platform will strive to make Cloud services secure, highly available, reliable and performant to our users
Key Responsibilities
Understand System Architecture and provide valuable inputs to continuously improve
Creates software designs, implements and tests those designs to meet established requirements
Participates in technical/design reviews as required with Key stakeholders
Works with the Technical Writers to provide inputs for product documentation
Should be able to guide and mentor the junior members in the team
Other duties as required and requested by management
Skill Sets:
8-10 years of experience in cloud software product development preferably on AWS
Solid hands-on programming experience in Java developing high-quality readable code. Proficiency in Java 8 and above .
Experience with Gradle .
Transform the requirements into technical specs/tasks
Experience in Reactive Programming .
Good to have Onion Architecture knowledge
Good knowledge of Server Architecture design and implementation
Experience in microservices based Architecture and Design
Experience in RestAPI and HTTPs concepts
Should have good experience in Unit Testing (JUnit)
Good knowledge of Spring framework with Spring Boot.
Experience with RDBMS and No SQL databases.
Good working knowledge on Linux
Good exposure to Continuous integration tools, Cloud Deployments, and Scripting.
Experience in TDD is preferred
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Self-starter and Passionate to learn new technologies
Good to Have
Self driven go getter.
Knowledge of Ecommerce Ecosystem
