Job Description

    You will be a Principal Solution Architect within Tata Communications Transformation Services for Digital Transformation initiatives for telecom customers, while working closely with Business Development to gather customer requirements and specifications and translating those needs into effective solutions in order to meet customer expectationsRole & ResponsibilitiesDrive business and Service Layer & Telecom management solution development with the customer by finding new opportunities based on expanding existing solutions as well as creating new ones.Attend as well as drive customer meetings for specific solutions and different areas.Develop cost estimates, and perform project planning including adaptationsResponsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions based on the customers specifications and business needs. Supports the Consultants during requirement analysis and high-level design phases.Lead and Co-ordinate technical solution proposals with respective competency teams and engage opportunity specific partners to win new business/growth for TCTS.Continuously contribute to the offering vision by bringing back innovations and partnerships from the sales cycles back into the solution portfolio to enable continuous differentiation for TCTSPrepare approval plans based on deal complexity, exceptions and partner needThe Prepare Proposal phase focuses on the development of a compliant, persuasive, customer-centered support proposalResponsibility in setting up engagements in internal systems (incl. setting up cost- and bill rates, project start and end dates, project value etc.) and supporting a smooth sale to delivery handoverDrive senior customer and internal stakeholder conversations aligned to TCTS Transformation Services offerings.COMPETENCE: Skills, Experience, & EducationExperience in Telecom Domain Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of ProcessesExperience on working with either B2C or B2B Telecom transformationOSS/BSS (Operations and Billing Systems) knowledge is strongly preferred.Experience in integrating OSS/BSS systemsGood interpersonal communication skill and ability to communicate & work with remote team in effective manner in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.Analytical Abilities, a goal-oriented work approach, high quality awareness, good team playerKnowledge on experience of one of the COTS packages ServiceNow, BMC Remedy/ TrueSight, Amdocs, Ericsson OSS systems, NetCracker, SeVone etc.Familiarity with various types of data being generated by Telecom Operations/OSS systems and Awareness of OSS data model.Understanding of key telecom processes and Data Model & able to describe and create dynamic designs using UML.Experience in providing advanced domain advisory services.Exposure to some of the Network technologies MPLS, SDWAN, FTTP, Ethernet etc.Knowledge of Various TMForum frameworks (eTOM/SID/TAM/Open API) knowledgeSolid background working with CDMA and/or GSM applications as well as well as all related protocols is criticalknowledge of UNIX O/S (Solaris, Linux), Databases such as MySQL and Oracle and knowledge of XML, SNMP, Corba, LDAP, SOAP protocolsKnowledge of wireless technologies (call flow) and related protocols preferredTelecom experience in an Operator (Carrier) environment is highly desired.Data/ IP and network knowledge experience is a plus.Understanding of BSS (Real time and converged solutions, Billing, Portals, Campaign Management, EAI and CRM)OSS (Fulfillment, Assurance, EAI, customer experience management)Cloud technologies/microservices/DevOpsService Delivery and Service Enablement solutions and VAS (Value added services) transformation/ consolidation.Experience within the Telecom space; cloud infrastructure or networks infrastructureTelecom digital transformation consulting experience with reputed consulting firm or serving as an internal consultant in industryExcellent understanding of Telecom Networks (LTE, 5G, Wireline), OSS (Operations Support Systems) Platforms/ Tools, Cloud & DevOpsSolid core consulting skills (Storyboarding, Logical Structuring, Executive Presentation, Client Interviewing, Business Case development, etc.)Experience leading large operations transformation engagements within the Telecom Networks spaceAbility to work under stressful situations, meet tight deadlines and deliver services with high quality Ability to examine situations from a highly analytical perspectiveAbility to understand specific needs in which to create or alter solutionsAbility to understand and drive In-Service Performance issues for complex systems,
