Job Title Specialist, Information Security What does an outstanding Senior Professional - Information Security (AWS Security Specialist) do at Fiserv As a Senior Professional - Information Security specializing in AWS security services, you will be a key member of our information security team responsible for ensuring the security of our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in a wide range of AWS security services will be essential in safeguarding our organizations digital assets and maintaining a strong security posture in the cloud.What you will do:
• Lead the design, implementation, and management of security solutions within AWS, with expertise in the following AWS security services:
  • AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF)
  • AWS Shield for DDoS protection
  • AWS GuardDuty for threat detection
  • AWS Key Management Service (KMS) for encryption
  • AWS CloudTrail for auditing and monitoring
  • AWS Config for compliance and configuration management
  • AWS Security Hub for centralized security monitoring
  • AWS Inspector for vulnerability assessments
  • AWS Macie for data security and privacy
  • AWS Secrets Manager for secure secrets storage
  • AWS Certificate Manager for SSL/TLS certificate management
  • AWS Firewall Manager for centralized firewall management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are met for cloud-based projects and initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts and events from AWS services to identify and respond to potential threats.
• Configure and maintain security policies, rules, and controls in AWS services to protect cloud resources and applications.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits of AWS resources to identify and address security gaps.
• Stay current with AWS security best practices, emerging threats, and new AWS security features.
• Assist in incident response and forensic investigations related to AWS security incidents.
• Prepare and present security reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to fostering a security-conscious culture by providing guidance and training on AWS security best practices.
What you will need to have:
• 8 Years of experience in cyber security in and around application, infrastructure, and cloud
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Security or relevant
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in information security, with a strong focus on AWS security services.
• In-depth knowledge of a wide range of AWS security services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• A commitment to staying informed about AWS security trends and best practices.
What would be nice/great to have:
• Expertise in SIEM tools such as but not limited to AlertLogic, AWS security services, Qualys, Trend Micro, CrowdStrike, and hands-on experience with Wiz.
• Relevant certifications Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly desirable.
