Job Purpose: To support our growth and vision, were seeking a highly capable individual to work closely with our Head of NDS (National Distribution), South India. National Distribution Organization is responsible for delivery of all consumer banking and SME products to customers in an efficient and profitable manner. After the amalgamation of Lakshmi Vilas Bank, DBS has close to 500 branches in south India, making it the largest and the most impactful region. The incumbent will have a direct impact on our productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives between departments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration. Responsibilities Supporting the RH in developing and executing strategic initiatives for the Amalgamated entity. Collaborating with executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness to existing strategies, and help to define new operational strategies, working with RH and executives on special projects Assist the RH in managing operational aspects, including enhancing corporate governance, increase efficiency and managing competing priorities Business Plans: preparation of business plans, ensure important priorities are on track by working with different functional teams, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications 2 of 2 Important Presentations: prepare presentations to for key meetings including budget considerations, business planning and other issues the leadership team should consider Work with Finance to analyze the regions profitability, budget/reforecast and expense management making recommendations to senior leadership for potential enhancement Assist RH to manage and coordinate firmwide projects including exploring automated solutions where necessary Work with agencies/consultants on projects /assignments involving business strategy, product development and operational improvements Create management reporting to be shared with the executive team Planning, coordinating and keeping contents of meetings focused Qualifications Degree in Business Administration or a similar discipline 3+ years in a business management role (minimum 2 years), experience in financial services will be an advantage Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication Excellent communicator in written and verbal form Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives Excellent problem-solving skills and highly resourceful,
