Job Description

SPI Global is hiring ETL Developers (preferred experience in Pentaho/Kettle)Work Location - Adyar, Chennai. (after lock-down);*Immediate joiners are highly preferredThe ETL developer will be working on web based enterprise level applications with multiple business logics involved in it. You will be working alongside other professionals to bring their plans to life. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop solutions to resolve defects and production problems, including the ability to document, communicate and share specifications for solutions.
  • Designs data warehousing system that meets the specific business needs, and works with a development team to build the warehouse.
  • Extracts the necessary data and transfers it to the new system.
  • Test designs to ensure the system runs smoothly. Fix any problems that may pop up.
  • Interface competently with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements
  • Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Design and work with complex data models
  • Investigate, analyze, document and fix reported issues
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • 3 - 9 years hands-on experience in ETL process
  • Hands-on experience with all aspects of designing, developing, testing and implementing ETL solutions using Pentaho/Kettle.
  • Experience with Oracle DB, MS SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or other database technology.
  • Ability to perform complex application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements.
  • Experience in C#.NET development and the Microsoft web development stack is added advantage
