We apply our expertise in technology, innovation, and our business to support Pfizer in this mission.The Digital Finance organization creates, configures, and runs digital products, platforms, and solutions supporting Pfizers core finance business functions such as Financial Consolidations, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Treasury, Tax, Compliance, Internal and Internal External Reporting.This Sr. Associate role is a hands-on technical role responsible for supporting the Microsoft Project Portfolio Management applications and delivering proof of concepts, small development projects and/or maintenance projects.Pfizer seeks a candidate who understands Project Portfolio Management solutions, is highly self-motivated, eager to explore new technologies, and effectively works in a team environment. In addition, a strong aptitude towards self-development and growth is highly desired.How You Will Achieve It

  • Provide application support and execute day to day operational maintenance activities for financial reporting applications
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues
  • Support and execute project deployment activities
  • Perform Infrastructure configuration management
  • Assist with the transition of all new applications into the support model
  • Drive operational efficiencies through continuous improvements
  • Liaise with solution delivery team to analyze and confirm opportunities for optimization
  • Maintain support operating procedures and work instructions
  • Support compliance activities (Audit preparation, Disaster recovery execution, etc.)
QualificationsMust-Have
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field
  • 3 years of Information technology solution delivery experience
  • 1 year of demonstrated experience with Microsoft project and portfolio management technology
  • Create .Net applications, integrations using Project APIs
  • Create reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI
  • Strong project server database SQL knowledge
  • Experience with .NET, C#, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL
  • Creating and maintaining project workflows using SharePoint designer
  • Experience with database technologies (Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL)
  • Experience with ETL Tools (Informatica, Talend, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills in building customer relationships
  • Ability to work independently and or in a global team setting across time zones
Nice-to-Have
  • Pharmaceutical life science domain experience
  • Exposure to Finance reporting applications
  • Familiar with SDLC/Agile methodologies
  • Exposure to DevOps processes
  • Microsoft Project Server certification
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Job will require working with global teams and applications. Flexible working schedule will be needed on occasion to accommodate planned agile sprint planning and system releases as well as unplanned/on-call level 3 support.
  • Potential post-pandemic travel required for critical project work
