Job ResponsibilitiesLam Corporate Analytics and Investor Relations group has a proven track record of developing and maintaining various demand / supply forecast models and predicting trends in semiconductor and semiconductor equipment industry to provide inputs into company s strategic planning process. The team has been developing key messaging themes and collateral to position Lam for best valuations within the investor community and has been recognized as one of the Top 3 IR teams in the Institutional Investors (II) 2021 All-America Executive Team rankings for the semiconductor industry.We are looking for a driven, intellectually curious, and analytically strong individual to be a part of the Corporate Analytics and Investor Relations organization at Lam India. As a senior Analyst leader you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in creating, updating and maintaining various end markets demand forecasting frameworks and models leading to superior strategic inputs to executive teams driving various company R&D decisions. The role has high visibility with senior executives including the CEO and CFO staff, requiring interaction with Product Group and sales leadership, external analysts, and various external research firms. It also provides the opportunity of working with the management to develop various messaging themes and collateral to best position the company externally. You will be recognized as the go to person for various end markets and competitive intelligence inputs across the company. The job has high visibility and offers career opportunity with exposure to multiple functions within Lam and Lam s overall business and competitive landscape.Other Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Strategic

• Overall responsibility of Corporate Analytics is to translate semiconductor market demand forecasts to wafer fab equipment needs, and to provide critical data as input to make corporate R&D investment decisions
• Execute projects, analysis, and support as required to support Lams Corporate Analytics Group, including but not limited to the following:
  • Create a demand model for 200mm/300mm WFE opportunities - both top down and bottom-up. Collaborate with stakeholders in Product Groups in developing the analysis
  • Responsible for development, maintenance, and refinement of the demand models periodically for advanced logic such as smartphone APs, GPUs, AI processors, others.
  • Models to forecast wafer demand for foundry and logic markets by node, tracking customer capacity to align with a WFE forecast
  • Support development of integrated demand models for current key memory markets (DRAM and NAND), as well as new memory types
• Forecast market sizes for the different equipment segments in which Lam participates, across the customer market segments of foundry, NAND, DRAM, MPU, and OSATs
• Support corporate and business units for business plans/market sizing and external messaging
• Execute projects, analysis and support as required to support Lams Investor Relations Group, including but not limited to the following
  • Developing collateral for earnings and analyst meetings
  • Developing collateral for Flash Memory Summit Reception

Minimum Qualifications

• More than 10 years of experience in the semiconductor and related industries
• Must have a strong technical background, with either completion or progress toward an MBA or Master s degree in the field of management science
• Extensive understanding of statistical analysis and mathematical/financial modeling
• Capability to synthesize data from a variety of sources, top down or bottom up, and draw a definitive conclusion
• Have a good working knowledge of top down short-term and long-term market demand dynamics pertaining to the semiconductor industry
• Experience in semiconductor equipment market analysis and forecasting preferred
• Good understanding of process technology and manufacturing flows required and knowledge of packaging technology preferred
