Job Description

• Responsible for deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting DevOps platform including application servers, cloud resources, API management and Integration, Single Sign-On and associated hardware or endpoints, and databases.
• Support services before go-live through activities like system design consulting, developing software platforms and launch reviews.
• Maintain post-live cloud operations by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health with any prompt and remediative actions.
• Work closely with development team to gain in-depth knowledge to learn about how each application server works in terms of business logic, security aspects, deployment environments and the relevant software processes involved.
• Design, build and deploy a multitude of applications utilizing a number of components of the AWS including EC2, S3,Auto Scaling group, ELB, CFT
• Design, build, improve, and support a Kubernetes-based data processing architecture that can run on premise and in an AWS environment.
• Building and configure Kubernetes-based infrastructure, networking policies, LBs, and cluster security.
• Automating the build of containerized systems with CI/CD tooling, Helm charts, and more.
• Managing deployments and rollbacks of applications.
• Administration of Middleware distributed environments in standalone and highly available configuration including WebSphere Application Server, Oracle WebLogic, RedHat JBoss, & Apache Tomcat.
• Be responsible for configuration, deployment, & automation of middleware components for new and existing application environments across Unix/Linux.
• Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of business-critical enterprise systems based on service architectural needs, using enterprise tools to help automate processes in an efficient, manageable, and secure manner.
• Design, deployment, and ability to maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery process using tools like Jenkins, maven, Git, etc.
• Monitor and audit virtual/hardware resources, security, operating system, service logs, and metrics for performance issues using centralized tools.

What we re looking for.Youll need to have:

• Bachelors degree orfouror more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Two or more years of experience in working onthe Kubernetes platform, architecture and infrastructure setup, management.
• Experience involvingin designing and deploying a multitude applications utilizing almost all of the AWS stack (Including EC2, Route53, S3, ELB, IAM) focusing on high-availability, fault tolerance, and auto-scaling.
• Experience in application log parsing, Splunk or any other dashboard technology.
• Experience in reviewing application performance metrics and proactively addressing performance concerns.
• Web Server experience - Apache, Oracle Iplanet, IBMHttpServer.
• Application Server experience- Websphere, WebLogic and Tomcat,Linux expertise,Shell scripting.
• Application Monitoring and Logging tools experience like Wily, Splunk, New Relic.
• Three or more years of experience in automating Infra tasks, like deployment, configuration, and monitoring using Chef/Ansible/shell scripting & Jenkins.
• Experience in Networking concepts like Subnets, routing, DNS, VPN.
• Experience in resource planning/management and source control.
• Experience in building and maintaining DEV, QA and PROD and Disaster Recovery environments for middleware.
• Experience in troubleshooting issues and quickly resolve them in an efficient manner that minimizes downtime.
• Experience in consolidating and virtualizing the environments.
• Experience in installation, configuration, backup and recovery of Middleware tools and technology.
• Experience in administration of user and role provisioning, connectors, workflow, certificate management, session management, encryption technologies.

• AWS and Kubernetes Certifications are a bonus.
• Looking for SRE certified professionals with Kubernetes and Cloudexperience
