Network L3 (PA FW Security Administrator) C3 PAFWSA- 23-C3 Mandatory Skills Should posses strong knowledge in Network Security mainly strong experience in Palo-Alto large network support Experience in administering & deploying network firewalls, such as Net screen, Checkpoint, Fortigate, Palo alto & Cisco ACLs Design, Implement and Support network operations, administration, connectivity and security to Public clouds (AWS) Focus on getting candidates with more experience in Security operations(Support and Troubleshooting) along with Palo Alto firewall deployment experience. Networking topologies and protocols. Examples being MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping / QoS Firewall security and NAT rules configuration, Firewall upgrade activity Inter VLAN Routing, STP, RSTP, VTP, Ether Channel, Policy Based Routing, Site to site VPN, Quality of Service, ACL, Route-Maps, STP, VTP. Ether channel, GRE tunnels, Route-Redistribution, NAT, AAA, Gateway Redundancy Protocols: HSRPv1, VRRP Palo Alto Command line o Cisco command line Worked on Network Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting. Thorough knowledge of NGFW, Panorama (PAN-OS, PAN-DB), VPN Global Protect Troubleshooting Palo alto based IPSEC VPN, SSL based Global Protect , Client-less VPN, inbound/outbound decryption, High-Availability, load balancing, security policies/NAT rules/QoS Policies, routing implementation/troubleshooting exposure including app-id, user-id, content-id, URL-Filtering Identification, verification, validation of software issues/bugs and root cause analysis. Familiarity with Data Centre environment and hosted deployments/cloud Desirable Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer 7-8 (PCNSE7-8) certification preferred. Key Requirements Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting problems remotely and on-site. Strong Knowledge in ITIL Framework. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including conveying technical subject matter clearly and concisely. Provide 24x7x365 network and security support for production infrastructure and perform troubleshooting to resolve problems Be flexible to perform additional duties as required. On Call for Critical issues. Design, Delivery, Operations, Administration and troubleshooting of private datacenter network infrastructure and Rambus public cloud. Part of the Global Network Design and Operations team responsible for Configuration, Support and Problem Resolution for network infrastructure. Partner with Various IT teams and end users in resolving issues/problems in Cloud and Data Center.
