Job Description

Serve as subject-matter expert (SME) within the team and provide direction, guidance, and training to staff members Perform post-closing pre-delivery audit of complex loan files (including credit and closing packages) to ensure compliance with internal policies, investor requirements, and agency guidelines Ensure data integrity within post-closing systems Escalate loans within allotted timeframe that may not be investor compliant or cannot be shipped within 48 hours of initial review/assigned date Validate compliance with RESPA and TILA guidelines by performing a detailed audit on LEs (Loan Estimates) and CDs (Closing Disclosures) to ensure that all fees have been properly disclosed and paid to the appropriate parties in the transaction Perform highly complex calculations to identify under-disclosures and non-allowable fees and facilitate reimbursements to borrowers via check or wire request when applicable Document errors and/or missing items in the system, send out notification to Operations staff and mangers to address any missing or erroneous items in file, and ensure timely receipt of required deficiency items needed to ship and sell loans Review processes and procedures and provide recommendations to management regarding ways optimize efficiencies Lead special projects and perform other miscellaneous functions as needed, including but not limited to: condition follow up, data/trend reporting, training sessions, etc. Meet goals and objectives as set by management and ensure that loans are in compliance with company policies Maintain knowledge of mortgage industry trends and best practices within assigned area(s) and work with management to ensure FGMC s standards and processes are appropriate and aligned with the market Perform other duties as assigned Roles & Responsibilities: Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management and follow-up skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively with business teams, clients, and vendors to build strong relationships Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel spreadsheet skills Ability to lead a team and provide guidance and training to lower-level staff members Qualifications: Any Graduate - with relvant experience of 3 - 5 years,
