Job Description

Come and Join us at Vestas!Regional Operations ASP, APC Supply Chain Operations, Warehouse IndiaSCO Warehouse India department is the Main Central warehouse for supplying spares for all Customer service and Project sites in pan India . Our aim is to deliver Spare parts to our stakeholder to operate the Service & project activity safer, smarter & better way and to sustain Vestas a global leader in wind energy sector.Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Spares KPIs Safety, Quality, Delivery performance, Inventory, Productivity
  • Safety follow up as per Vestas HSE policy
  • Handle ECRs and NCMs for Spares
  • Responsible for warehouse Spares daily operation including material receiving, stocking, dispatching and making sure physical parts match with system records
  • Cycle counting and stock take as per policy
  • Investigate Customer complaints regards lost or damaged or shortage in shipment to determine responsibility
  • Assist Manager who have overseen operation with procedure improvement and follow-up the implementation of new methodology in order to produce better and faster results
  • Assist the workers by understanding the best practices and how they will be concerned
  • Manage Customers order according to priority and request date to ensure timely delivery and Focusing Urgent & Turbine down orders
  • Ensure that the Spares team is effective, productive and lean
  • To maintain stocks safely and in good conditions by taking all precautions to ensure that materials do not get suffer from damage or rust
  • Performance monitoring of Spares and controlling scraps
  • Ensure the warehouse operations follow the WKI strictly and assist Warehouse Manager to update and optimize the WKI
  • High level reports to be submitted to Manager as per business requirement
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent related work experience required
  • Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse operation
  • Working knowledge of transport coordination and requirements within local area
Competencies
  • Comprehensive grasp of warehouse operations and practices
  • Recommends improvements in current practices to promote efficiency faster service and lower costs
  • Ensure that team work and synergy risk achieved at all levels
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
  • Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines
  • Advanced SAP user and understanding of MRP logic
  • Advanced user of Excel (Vlookup, Countifs, Match, Index)
  • Intermediate MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge about order management processes and flows
  • Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written (in English)
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment and be flexible in meeting new requirements
  • Ability to influence others and get others buy-in on solutions and decisions
