Job Description

    Description: Responsible to meet shift production plan. Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment (with proper approval from higher up), back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations. Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers. Schedule and conduct shift meetings. Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications. Process Execution in accordance with Control Plan / SOP. Maintaining documents and records as per Quality Procedure. Intimating machine breakdown for maintenance and inform higher officials for more than 30 minutes break downs. Ensuring operator efficiency against standard time. Computing OEE on daily basis Inform PPC on all deviations (non value added hours) apart from standard time. Regular Communication with the next shift supervisor & any change and priorities etc Train and coach production line employees Ensure a clean and safe work area & conduct daily sun raise meeting.Responsible for getting kaizens from employees.Specific Assignments :- To maintain shop floor 5s & quality improvement projectsAuthorities :- To stop the production to correct the quality problems. To recommend leave / com-off / permission slips for operators.To handle welfare related issues during the shift and inform higher officials.Qualification & Experience :-Graduate in Engineering with 4 years in UFSL as an Sr. Engineer Key Skills: Retrieving data.
