The team youll be part of As Nokias growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to Core Networks Global Services Customer Engineering Delivery team. What you will learn and contribute to We custom-develop core network software/ features that our customers need as their networks evolve but cannot be offered from standard R&D roadmap . As part of our team, you will: Develop detailed customer solution design & architecture and perform technical risk evaluation for overall technical solution. Own technical part of the solution design/architecture, Development, Testing, Presales Lead the technical implementation during the delivery phase. Present offered solution design/architecture to customer and verify/adapt it during realization phase Your skills and experience Good Understanding and Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE Networks and HLR, HSS, IMS and VoLTE Call flows, Solution design & Implementation of Core Network Elements including HLR, HSS, IMS Node, One-NDS, MNP & EIR
• Hands-on experience in C/C++/Python
• Good in-depth Knowledge of Linux particularly SLES and RHEL/CentOS7+ concepts, including use of package manager (like yum or rpm) for package installation and managing system services like sFTP, SSHD, system daemons etc
• Experience in LDAP, SOAP, XML, JSON and RestFul API design (using HTTP & HTTP2) for application/service access.
• Working knowledge of GitHub/Gerrit (GIT), JIRA
• Experience in Cloud + Virtualization, VNF Deployments
It would be nice if you also had:
• Good Understanding of Application Containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes (including Helm Chart for Application Packaging).
• Experience in working on Relational Databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL. Also, an understanding of any No SQL database like MongoDB, Cassandra etc. would be a plus
