Job Description

    Zonal Head -Government & Institutional BusinessThe role entails providing banking solutions to the Institutional Clients in Government, Financial Institutions, Corporates and TASC Segments with a focus on liabilities and fee income and ensure best in class relationship management and client experience to become their banking partner of choice.The role bearer is responsible for developing and managing relationship with key Institutional Clients, ensure acquisition of NTB Institutional Clients for Liabilities (CASA / WTD) and Payments & Cash Management products. The role will closely collaborate with the product teams and Branches as well as managing a team of Relationship Managers to drive effective customer acquisition, servicing, and deepening.Role & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for developing and managing relationship with State Government Departments leading to empanelment, Government Organisations, Autonomous Bodies, Financial Institutions, and large Trusts/ NGOs in the assigned geography/ Zone.Responsible for acquiring NTB (New to Bank) Clients for Government & Institutional Business in the assigned geography/ Zone with a detailed understanding of Liability Products.Ensure deepening of ETB (Existing to Bank) Book through existing relationships for Government & Institutional Business in the assigned geography/ ZoneKnowledge and understanding of Payments & Cash Management, various Electronic Payment Products, Government Agency Business and basic understanding of Trade Finance and Foreign Exchange. Demonstrate ability in understanding of clients requirements and conceptualizing possible solutions/ propositionsDevelop collaborative relationship with other Business Heads/ Verticals of the Bank in the assigned geography/ Zone for cross leveraging synergy optimization and work within the Overall Bank Eco System with other StakeholdersEvaluate growth strategy based on competitor analysis and feedback from different channels/ clientsDevelop superior working relationship with Branches in the assigned geography / Zone for efficient servicing of existing Institutional Clients and support them for acquiring NTB Clients for Government & Institutional Business.Responsible for ensuring achievement of budgets by the Branches in the assigned geography/ cluster by providing necessary product trainings, proposals etc. in coordination with Zonal Office/ Head Office.Managerial & Leadership ResponsibilitiesAttract and retain good talent for the role of Relationship Managers in their reporting structureMonitor key business parameters on employee productivity, hiring quality and attrition rates and make necessary improvementsEnable team to drive growth targets by providing necessary supportEducational QualificationsGraduate AnyPost Graduate Preferably MBA/ CARelevant experience of 8-12 years with 3-5 years in a similar roleReportingHead Government & Institutional BusinessLocationChennaiIf you are interested for this profile kindly share me your updated resume & Salary details:-Fixed CTC -Variable CTC -Expected CTC -Notice Period -RegardsManav sudarshanPhone: +91 hidden_mobileEmail: hidden_emailhttp://www.peopleconnects.co.in
