Job Description

    1. Commercial Strategy Development:- Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for owned, leased, and managed hotels, aligning with the companys overall goals and objectives.-2. Pricing and Revenue Optimization:- Drive revenue growth by optimizing pricing strategies, distribution channels, and sales tactics across all Sterling properties, with a focus on maximizing Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR)3. Market Analysis & New Launches:- Implement pricing strategies and revenue optimization techniques to maximize profitability and enhance the competitiveness of the hotel chain.- Guiding successful expansions: Leads the launch of new hotel properties, ensuring alignment with market demand and brand positioning.4. Marketing:- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and sales initiatives that maximize occupancy and revenue.- Building brand magnetism involves crafting a compelling narrative. and cultivating a magnetic allure that irresistibly draws in customers, creating lasting connections and fostering brand loyalty.5. Sales:- Lead the sales team to increase offline depth and width of distribution through Travel Agents (TAs), Property Sales Units (PSUs), and corporate business.6. Partnership Management:- Building a network of success: Manages relationships with OTAs, travel agents, key accounts, and management contract property owners to secure optimal partnerships.- Negotiating win-win deals: Negotiates contracts and agreements that benefit both Sterling and its partners.7. Budget & Forecasting:- Financial foresight: Sets and manages budgets, accurately forecasting revenue and expenses to ensure financial sustainability.- Leading by example: Provides direction and motivation to the commercial team, fostering collaboration and achieving shared goals.8. Team Leadership:- Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve departmental goals.9. Performance Measurement:- Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of commercial strategies and make data-driven decisions.10. Digital Enablement:- Infuse digital capabilities into commercial operations to enhance revenue and productivity viz. online booking platforms, revenue management tools, and targeted marketing campaigns.11. Sterling Reservation Network:- Strengthen the Sterling Reservation Network- Ensuring seamless bookings: Manages the reservation process for Sterling Holidays, a crucial component of the hotel chains offerings.- Delivering exceptional guest service: Oversees the reservation team to ensure a smooth and efficient booking experience for all guests.Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelors degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field; Masters degree is highly desirable.- Proven experience in senior leadership roles within corporate commercial operations for a luxury hotel chain or similar industry.- Strong understanding of global hospitality trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.- In-depth knowledge of revenue management, pricing strategies, and distribution channels- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities,
