Job Description

DescriptionJob BriefWe are currently hiring a Visual Effects (VFX) Editor to join our team and work closely with various stakeholders to deliver high quality and impactful content.Preferably 2 Years of experience with highly motivated and organized to achieve larger goals in the post production stream.The VFX Editor will collaboratively work with departmental supervisors and the Production teams.The position requires visual talent, excellent hands-on skills with both offline and on-line editing techniques, healthy curiosity and attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.Must be able to perform creative editing & achieve High Standard of quality output in time., RequirementsEssentials:

  • Working closely with the VFX Supervisor & the Producer to create the VFX Timeline of the video
  • Working closely with producers to manage all incoming media and outgoing deliverables
  • Incorporating and updating all required versions of visual effects shots into the current cuts of the VFX / live action sequences.
  • Performing shot specific color corrections to match editorial reference when required.
  • Marking annotations for brief specific and publishing it to all the relevant team members.
  • Working in partnership with other members of the team to ensure shots are delivered to the very highest standard while maintaining schedules.
  • Create in-house reels including monthlies and marketing presentation pieces
  • Cutting the scans according to the frame range provided in nuke and making it ready for the team to work on.
  • Publishing the scans provided by the Mumbai/client in shotgun before the team starts to work on it.
  • Making sure the team works on the correct frame range and briefs asked by the client
