Job Description

  • Collaborate with and work as part of a team, with Operations and other networkengineers developing && supporting the Carrier Wholesale business.
  • Support the switch infrastructure, track and document all Incidents worked on in detailand attend post incident reviews.
  • Investigate, Diagnosis && Resolve Incidents and issues brought to your attention, analysisof monitoring, logs and system behavior to resolve Incidents as quickly as possible in accordance with customer contractual Service Levels.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity and develop and implementimprovements.
  • Troubleshoot Voice calls, Roaming, MO, MT, International Calls (e.g. Wireshark).
  • Ensuring trouble tickets are resolved within SLA's.
  • Comprehensive hands-on knowledge on the switching fabric with call control set-up andtroubleshooting on Huawei switches, Enghouse/Dialogic SBC.
  • Familiarity on SCP layer with downstream integration into mediation system and chargingsystem.
  • Provide out of hours support to the business as part of an on-call rotation.
  • Liaise with Vendor for planning upgrade and ORM
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge and 5+ years of experience on carrier grade Huawei, Dialogic, andVOIP switches.
  • An In-depth understanding of the SIP, SIP-I,SDP, RTP,C7,H323 and SIPRec protocolsand their secure versions
  • Hands on experience in Huawei Msoftx3000 / UMG 8900, Media Gateways, SBC SE2600,2900, SDH Network ADM OSN7500, Enghouse/Dialogic SBC
  • Hands on experience in Huawei ADM OSN7500
  • Interworking between IP and TDM protocols, SIP/C7/Q931.
  • It is essential that you have very good SIP protocol trouble shooting skills with the abilityto diagnose and understand SIP call flows
