The candidate will also engage with counterparts in Europe, Asia and the US to ensure that a consistent approach and methodology is followed globally.What will you be doing This role is a Delivery Lead for Technology and will be accountable toSupport strategy definition and deliver technology change across OpRisk & CCO tech portfolios from business, technology, cost, time & quality perspectiveMaintain technology systems for OpRisk & CCO business and be accountable for product stability and service availability, lead incident and problem management through resolutionSupport/define and implement short & long term tech roadmapStrategize & deliver technology transformation through TCO/Productivity/Efficiency initiatives aligned with Group Functions CIO visionThe person taking up this role will work towards:Vision and StrategyWork with management to be part of and implement aspects of the strategy and vision for the groupTranslate gaps between current state of tech landscape and strategy into a project plan/roadmapChampion the vision and strategy with team and support decision making with the teamPossess a high degree of commercial acumenReview the portfolio for consolidation/optimization opportunities that enable business/technology efficiencies and translate them into roadmapDeliveryExecute Global OpRisk & CCO Technology Strategy- Product, Budgeting & Resourcing, Delivery roadmap & People management and Location strategyManages one or two project teams engaged throughout the full delivery lifecycle, supporting the business strategy from business case through to initiation, requirement analysis, design, build, testing, implementation and closureFacilitate business change decision-making processes and the planning and implementation of changeDefine, negotiate & deliver technology book of work for OpRisk & CCO businessControl the scope of projects, ensuring that rigorous change control is exercisedEnsures that sufficient level of detail project and quality plans are prepared and maintained for complex projects, providing regular and accurate reports on progress against plan to stakeholders as appropriateEnsure project dependencies and assumptions are factored into the planning processResponsible for the successful delivery of projects to plan, budget and agreed quality and governance standardsEnsure sufficient level of flexibility and tolerance provided to tackle complex nature of projectsSupport the infrastructure changes needed to support customer requirements and maintain capabilities in line with Global plansSupport service, change and incident management activities with Run the Bank teamsExhibit solid root cause analysis mindset to review ongoing issues and come with adequate corrective and preventive actions and communicate to stakeholdersTrack and report against project/program activities to ensure progressChampion and improve the project management process and success factorsOversee Training/communication activities as required to ensure it is fit for purpose for level of business changeTypically manage one or two complex projects simultaneously at scaleSupport year-end budget discussions and planning as well as monthly budget review cycles including forecastingWhat we re looking for:Proven experience with track record of delivery and project management with extensive and demonstrable expertise in supporting small, medium and large complex business and technical projects of strategic significance, end to end execution, with internal and external stakeholder managementTechnical expertise in Java, DB (RDBMS) and BI visualization and reporting platforms, nice to have AWS architecture knowledge and hands-on experience on any cloud offering solutionsImpeccable analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, including experience presenting to senior level leadershipSolid people management and leadership skills - Prior team handling experience in technology; solid and tenured team manager - with evidence of managing teams across a range of disciplines and locationsProven ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, with attention to detail and quality of work in a high paced environment and being able to co-ordinate, manage competing priorities against stringent and demanding timelinesAbility to manage upwards and downwards, can negotiate and solicit engagement at all levels of the organisation, and have solid experience of working with senior stakeholders (typically D, MD level)Ability to have a solid impact and to influence key outcomes, budget management, cost and benefit management / realisation and resource allocationAbility to take ownership of issues, drill through the root causes, execute short and long term actions for permanent resolutionsFully up to date with developments in individual area of expertise and will be expected to keep abreast of emerging technologies and potential for application within the BankSkills that will help you in the role:Ability to quickly learn new business domains and processesDemonstrable security awareness, and understanding of security in the broad business contextKnowledge of MS Office, MS Project and Project Planning & Control toolsProject management - Foundation level accreditation PMP/PMI/AgileExperience in Finance line function or GRC frameworks preferred but not essential,
