Do it here.What you ll be doing.As a Sr. Engr. Consultant (Software Dev.) you will leading few modules to develop and maintain customer contact center web application at Verizon. This application has the capability to help front line agents to manage customer accounts & support all customer requirements by providing personalized and institutive experience by leveraging customer journeys & insights. This application will typically get implemented on premise as well in cloud depending upon the transactions.
• Leading projects, code, and develop the business requirements and integrate with interfacing systems as per defined architecture.
• Owning a couple of modules in contact center web applications and perform engineering tasks associated with the analysis, design, and development in react JS/Ext JS, JQuery and Core Java.
• Leading application modules by bug fixing, building tools to reduce manual efforts using on-site and off-shore resources to maintain and develop applications for both enterprise releases and smaller maintenance releases.
• Working closely with the business team and other internal IT teams to deliver projects on time.
• Responsible to deliver code with quality as per coding standards, unit testing tools, security reviews and fixing the vulnerabilities and application performance fine tuning.
• Working collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment to analyze and creatively solve complex problems.
• You will be encouraged to come-up with ideas to transform the way we work to improve the experience both agents & customers.

In this hybrid role, youll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.What we re looking for.You have strong technical skills, and eager to work in a collaborative environment with global teams to drive the business requirements, develop end to end personalized solutions for customers and communicate status & progress to leadership. You work independently and are always willing to learn new technologies. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are able to interact with various stakeholders and cross functional teams to implement business solutions.Youll need to have:
• Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in core Java Technologies.
• Experience in react JS/ Ext JS/JQuery and spring boot micro services.
• Experience in Rest APIs.
• Experience with all phases of end-to-end project life cycle.
• Experience with development, unit testing, and bug fixing.
• Experience in SQL, PL/SQL in Oracle.
• Experience in developing production metrics.
• Experience in effective tools for application performance monitoring.
Even better if you have one or more of the follwoing:
• Knowledge on AWS/EKs and K8 platforms.
• Experience with JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Oracle, UNIX.
• Knowledge in caching technologies like Redis.
• Knowledge in Logging andMonitoring technologies like: ELK, Redshift & Grafana, sitecatalyst.
• Problem solving, analytical, and research Ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
